My collaborators Chai, Sarah, and I contributed animated sequences to the documentary Ars Erotica by Patrick Catuz. It was a wonderful experience to see our animation come alive on screen, and I’ll be sharing process content here soon.
Ars Erotica is a co-production of ARTE and ORF. It airs on ORF2 on November 30 at 23:00, with the ARTE broadcast following in spring.
Short synopsis:
Though often seen as taboo today, explicit imagery has historically served many roles—educational, entertaining, decorative, and artistic. Ars Erotica traces its evolution across eras and cultures, revealing a much richer and more nuanced history than commonly assumed.
